Effect of depression among taekwondo students and its relationship with negative events due to COVID-19

Background and Study Aim. The aim of this research was to examine effect depression among taekwondo students its relationship with negative events due COVID-19 in Mazandaran University.
 Material Methods. This conducted on the appropriate sample 116 Taekwondo from university, being 18-24 years old. applied measure instruments were - Adolescent Perceived Events Scale, Automatic Thoughts Questionnaire, General Self-Efficacy Confrontation Stressing Situation Social Support Children's Depression Rating Scale-demonstrated satisfactory reliability. data processed using descriptive parameters, Pearson’s correlation coefficient hierarchy regression analysis & SPSS23 software.
 Results. Achieved results didn’t show that predictor variables (common automatic thoughts, sense general self-efficiency, confrontation strategies perceived support family, coach team peers) are cause common relations middle period adolescence.
 Conclusions. On contrary, have emphasized fact mutual students, young category, can be explained independent (unwilling unconscious focused feelings, as well peers).
